Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar - Baltal
Arrive in Srinagar, the beautiful capital city of Jammu Kashmir. As you admire the scenic roadways meandering through the humbling Himalayas on your way to the city center, you are assisted to the huts at Baltal for the night's halt (Room only basis).
Day 2: Baltal - Panjtarni - Amarnath Cave - Srinagar
In the morning, you are escorted to the helipad at Baltal, only a 10 min drive from your accommodation. As you land at the Panjtarni helipad, the most exciting part of the Yatra begins. During the last 6 km of the journey to the Amarnath cave, pilgrims are carried in Palkis or on horsebacks to shrine. After the soul stirring Darshan of Baba Amarnath in form of a naturally created ice Lingam, Return on the same trail as an assisted transfer to Srinagar is arranged for you. On arrival, enjoy sightseeing, including the Mughal gardens. Dinner and overnight stay in a Hotel or Houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar - Departure
Post breakfast in the morning and get transferred to the Srinagar airport to board a flight for an onward journey.
